Neuregulin is a signaling protein for ErbB2/ErbB4 receptor heterodimers on the cardiac muscle cells, playing an important role in heart structure and function through inducing ErbB2/ErbB4 receptor phosphorylation and cardiomyocyte differentiation. ScienCell’s Recombinant Human NRG-1 variant is engineered for greater stability, which increases cell proliferation. The rhNRG-1v shares more than 97% amino acid identity with the native human Neuregulin and leaves ErbB2/ErbB4 receptor binding sites unmodified.
